What we do with your phone number

Short version: we use it to find your rewards account, and to text you a one-time code when you sign up online. We don’t sell it, and this site runs no analytics or advertising trackers.

Who this is

JJolly's Convenience Store, 4710 River Oaks Blvd, River Oaks, TX 76114 — (682) 224-2828. This covers this website and JJolly’s Rewards.

The rewards program itself runs on LoyalLoop, the loyalty platform we use. Your account and your points are stored by LoyalLoop, not by this website.

What we ask for

Signing up on this site asks for three things, and that is the entire form:

  • Your first and last name — so there’s a name on the account when you give your number at the register.
  • Your mobile number — this is the account. It’s what you read off at the register and punch into the pump.
  • The one-time code we text you — it proves the number is yours before anything gets created.

No email address, no home address, no birthday, no card number. The form doesn’t ask for them and the page doesn’t send them.

The text message

When you tap Create my rewards account, one verification code is texted to the number you typed. That message is transactional — it exists to check the number, not to sell you anything. It’s one text per request, plus one more each time you tap Resend code. Message and data rates may apply.

Marketing texts are a separate thing, and they are off. Signing up here does not switch them on: the account is created with SMS notifications turned off, and nothing on this page asks you to opt in. If you want deal texts later, ask at the register. Reply STOP to any message to opt out or HELP for help, or call the store at (682) 224-2828.

Once the account exists

The account carries your name, your mobile number, JJolly’s as your home store and your points balance. Every time you give your number at the register, it records that visit — the date, the store, what you bought and what it cost, and the points you earned or spent. That record is how the points printed on your receipt add up.

Who else sees it

Three companies are involved in a sign-up, each doing one job:

  • LoyalLoopThe loyalty platform that runs the program. Your account and points live on their servers at api.loyanetwork.com, which is where this form sends your name, your number and the code.
  • TwilioDelivers the verification text and checks the code you type back. Twilio gets your mobile number, because that’s where the message goes.
  • CloudflareRuns the “verify you are human” check on the sign-up form so bots can’t burn through text messages. Cloudflare sees your IP address and signals from your browser. It is not given your name or your number.

That’s the list. We don’t sell your information and we don’t hand it to anyone for their own advertising.

What this site doesn’t do

No analytics. No advertising pixels. No session recording. We set no cookies of our own. Code from another company loads in exactly two places, and this is the whole list.

Two pages — the home page and Visit Us — embed a Google map so you can see where we are, and a map that loads from Google means Google sees your IP address when it draws. If you’d rather it didn’t, the address is in plain text right here: 4710 River Oaks Blvd, River Oaks, TX 76114.

The Store Rewards page loads Cloudflare’s bot check, and only that page, because that’s where the form is. Past those two, nothing we’ve put on these pages follows you around the rest of the web.

Getting your account removed

Call (682) 224-2828 or ask at the register and we’ll have the account closed. Closing it takes your details off the account: the phone number is replaced with a placeholder that points at nobody, and the name comes off. Purchase records made before you closed it stay behind as store sales records, and some of those still carry the number that was punched in at the register or the pump.

Same phone call if you’d rather just see what’s on the account, or fix a name we spelled wrong.

Texas

We’re a Texas store and Texas has a privacy law — the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act — that gives residents rights over their personal data and applies to businesses above the federal small-business size. We’re not going to claim on this page whether it covers a store this size. Either way, the phone number above is how you ask us to show you what we have or to delete it, and we’ll do it.

Questions

Ask any team member, or call (682) 224-2828. We’re open 24 hours. If this policy changes, the new version goes up on this page.
